Real Madrid midfielder Isco has confirmed that he will stay at the Bernabeu this summer.
The Spain international's future had been up in the air after starting the 2016-17 campaign out of Zinedine Zidane's first XI and it had been claimed that Tottenham Hotspur were preparing a deadline-day swoop for the midfielder.
However, speaking at a media event at the Bernabeu on Wednesday afternoon, Isco said, "I'm staying, I'm staying", when questioned on rumours that he could depart the Spanish giants on August 31.
The 24-year-old, who is said to have turned down Manchester City to join Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013, has won two Champions League titles and one Copa del Rey during his time with Los Blancos.
Last season, Isco made 45 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring five times in the process.
