Roma happy with Francesco Totti progress

Roma refuse to set a date for Francesco Totti's return after reporting that tests on hamstring injury this morning have been positive.

Roma have confirmed that Francesco Totti underwent further tests on a hamstring injury this morning, but refused to put a timeline on his return despite signs of recovery.

Totti pulled up in the first half of Roma's 2-0 win over Napoli at the Olimpico 10 days ago, with an initial diagnosis ruling the Giallorossi captain out for at least two weeks.

The 37-year-old had a fresh examination earlier today and will assessed again by Roma club doctors in seven days.

Giallorossi boss Rudi Garcia is likely to be without his forward talisman for most of November, although the Corriere dello Sport have mentioned a match against Cagliari on November 25 for his return.

Roma coped well without Totti in their latest Serie A victory yesterday, overcoming Udinese by a single goal to stretch their 100% start to nine matches.
