Sevilla up to fourth in La Liga with Eibar win

Sevilla move up to fourth in La Liga with a 3-1 win over Eibar.

Sevilla leapfrogged Valencia into fourth in La Liga with a 3-1 win over Eibar this evening.

Jose Antonio Reyes added to a brace from Carlos Bacca to move the Europa League holders into the final Champions League spot, despite an effort from Federico Piovaccari for the home side.

Colombian international Bacca netted after just seven minutes for the visitors with a smart finish after a through-ball from Reyes.

Bacca had his second of the evening on 15 minutes when he latched onto Alejandro Arribas's pass before firing home from around six yards out.

Piovaccari gave the home side a lifeline six minutes into the second half when he converted from close range, but Reyes restored the two-goal cushion for the visitors after the hour mark.

The former Arsenal forward curled home with his favoured left foot after good work from Bacca.
