Mauricio Pochettino not thinking about Southampton slump

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino insists that he is not worrying about his side's recent dip in form.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he is not concerned about his side's recent dip in form in the Premier League.

The Saints have now lost their last two fixtures in the top flight following Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Chelsea.

However, Pochettino claims that he is only concentrating on turning things around during Wednesday's home match against Aston Villa.

"We don't have time to dwell on our two consecutive defeats because we are only thinking about tomorrow's game," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"All we can do is recover, to get our energy back and try to fix the mistakes we have made in the past to make sure they do not happen again."

Southampton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table.
