West Bromwich Albion snatched a late equaliser to secure a share of the spoils at Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

Was the result fair?
Yes and no. Spurs completely bossed the opening period and should have been ahead at the interval. However, West Brom will feel they somewhat deserved a late winner because of their improved play in the second half that was catalysed by the introduction of Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku, who gave William Gallas and Jan Vertonghen a torrid time.
Spurs' performance
As so often when they're at White Hart Lane it was frenetic and entertaining but lacked an end product. Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon are two excellent wingers and they'll feel hard done by that more of their crosses didn't result in goals.
West Brom's performance
A tale of two halves for the Baggies, who were much better after Steve Clarke got them in at the break. Lukaku's barnstorming display will give his new manager a bit of a selection headache and it's probable that the young Belgian will start in midweek.
Sports Mole's man of the match
Gareth Bale. The Welsh winger hugged the touchline and provided a constant outlet. When he was found he sent in dangerous deliveries that on another day would have been converted by the likes of Defoe and Adebayor.
Biggest gaffe
Not too many gaffes to speak of in this one but Lennon is getting the award for a pretty dreadful effort that dribbled past the post in the opening half.
Referee's performance
One of the easier games for Mike Dean and I can't think of too many penalty shouts or incidents he got wrong. Well done him.
What next?
Spurs: The North London side will hope for their first win of the season when they welcome Norwich City, who have also only picked up one point from their opening two games, to White Hart Lane.
West Brom: The Baggies have a midweek trip to Yeovil in the second round of the League Cup before welcoming in-form Everton to the Hawthorns next weekend.
