Michael Dawson hails Louis Saha and Emmanuel Adebayor after Spurs' 5-0 victory over Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson has praised Louis Saha and Emmanuel Adebayor for their displays during the 5-0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday.

Adebayor scored while Saha found the net twice on his home debut during the comfortable victory, and Dawson hailed the impact of the front two.

Dawson told talkSPORT: "Newcastle's front two are a handful but the way we pass the ball we were on top of them and we kept them quiet.

"It started from the front. Ade and Louis were unplayable today. Louis was fantastic today, and whenever I have played against him you know you have been in a tough game.

"Him and Ade up there were top class."

Spurs are currently third in the Premier League.
