Jermain Defoe thinks that Tottenham are "brilliant to watch" on their quest for Premier League glory.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has revealed that Harry Redknapp thinks the side can win the Premier League this year.

The North London club are currently third in the league table, seven points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

"[Redknapp] thinks we can win the Premier League and I can't see why not," Defoe told talkSPORT.

"The squad is unbelievable. We've got two good teams who can compete in the Premier League. When we play like we can, when we pass quickly and break with intensity, it must be brilliant to watch.

"We've got a winning mentality and a belief that it doesn't matter who we play, we can win. Everyone is buzzing in training and the lads believe we can go on and do well."

Spurs host Bolton Wanderers at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
