Mousa Dembele calls for Tottenham Hotspur focus against Southampton

Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele calls on his teammates to stay focused ahead of Sunday's clash with Southampton in the Premier League.

Mousa Dembele has called on his Tottenham Hotspur teammates to maintain their focus during Sunday's visit of Southampton in the Premier League.

Much of the pre-match talk has been about Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino coming up against the club that he left over the summer.

However, Dembele is eager for Tottenham to put such distractions aside and follow up last weekend's draw against Arsenal with a win.

"Things like Mauricio coming up against his old club don't make a difference, we want to beat every team. In every game there is something special for someone but for the team and the club, we have to win every match," he told Spurs' official website.

"It was a good performance at Arsenal but this is a different game. Southampton will do everything to beat us at our place but we know this and we've got a good team who will do anything to win."

Tottenham have failed to win any of their last four matches in the Premier League.
