New Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino reveals respect for Harry Redknapp

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says that he has nothing but respect for former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has spoken of his respect for Harry Redknapp ahead of his side's meeting with Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League this weekend.

Redknapp recently revealed that he holds no grudge against Spurs after he was sacked by the North London outfit, despite leading them to two fourth-place finishes.

The 67-year-old will now return to White Hart Lane for the first time as manager of QPR, two years after his dismissal.

"I have full respect for him," Pochettino is quoted as saying by BT Sport. "He was born on the same day as me, March 2, so he is a special person too like me.

"I know about Harry Redknapp, I have full respect for him and he, too, was the manager of Southampton and Tottenham."

The two sides meet at White Hart Lane tomorrow afternoon.
