The captain is joined by the returning Gael Clichy in the backline as Martin Dimichelis and Aleksandar Kolarov drop to the bench.

With Fabian Delph out with an Achilles injury, Fernando comes into the lineup to partner Fernandinho, while Yaya Toure moves further up the field to provide support for Sergio Aguero alongside Raheem Sterling and David Silva.

For the visitors, Mauricio Pochettino makes four alterations to the side that defeated Watford at White Hart Lane last time out.

Kyle Walker and Danny Rose come into the back four at the expense of Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies, while Dele Alli replaces Nacer Chadli and Son Heung-min is in for Erik Lamela behind lone striker Harry Kane.
