Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly loan Jack Clarke back to Leeds United once they have finalised a permanent deal for the youngster.

Leeds United will reportedly keep Jack Clarke for another season once his switch to Tottenham Hotspur is finalised next week.

Spurs are on the brink of completing the signing of the 18-year-old, who was provided with regular opportunities in the Leeds first team during the most recent campaign.

However, it appears that 24 appearances in the Championship - 20 of which came from the bench - will not be enough to earn the teenager any Premier League football until 2020.

According to journalist Phil Hay, both clubs have agreed for the forward to continue his development at Elland as Leeds look to earn promotion to the top flight.

Clarke contributed two goals and two assists at the second tier last season, although he failed to make a start during the closing months of the campaign.
