Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster is said to be in favour of a move to West Bromwich Albion, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers.

West Bromwich Albion are understood to be winning the race to sign Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster.

Foster spent last season on loan at the Hawthorns, making 37 Premier League appearances for the Black Country club.

Baggies assistant manager Keith Downing had hinted that the club were interested in keeping the 29-year-old on a permanent basis but, following Roy Hodgson's departure, Foster was said to unwilling to commit to the move.

However, Foster has been impressed by the appointment of Steve Clarke and the stopper is willing to discuss terms with West Brom despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers, according to The Mirror.

West Brom are said to be preparing a £3m bid for Foster.
