Stoke City boss Mark Hughes wants positive display against Chelsea

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is hopeful that his players can put in a "good performance" at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is hopeful that his team can give a good account of themselves when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Twenty-five points currently separate 10th-placed Stoke and Jose Mourinho's side in the Premier League table.

Despite struggling to cause upsets at Stamford Bridge in the past, the Potters have won two, drawn one and lost one in their last four away games.

"We have acquitted ourselves well in big games on the road this season, and we want to go down to London and put in another good performance," Hughes said in today's press conference.

"It will be incredibly difficult because they have world-class players and they have an outstanding man in charge."

Chelsea have lost just two games in the league this season and are on course to scoop the title as they are currently six points above second-placed Manchester City.
