Stuttgart beat Freiburg 2-1 for a second time in five days, as Vedad Ibisevic and Christian Gentner grabbed the goals for Bruno Labbadia's men.

Vedad Ibisevic netted his 13th Bundesliga goal of the season as Stuttgart beat Freiburg 2-1 for a second time in five days.

Stuttgart, who knocked Christian Streich's men out of the German Cup on Wednesday, broke the deadlock on 33 minutes when Christian Gentner headed home Martin Harnik's cross.

Ibisevic doubled the hosts' advantage in the final moments of the first half with a precise low finish from 12 yards following another Harnik assist.

Ivan Santini netted a consolation goal against the run of play on 88 minutes, but Stuttgart held on to record a deserved victory that sees them climb to 10th in the Bundesliga table.
