Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has revealed that he is currently searching for a new striker.
The Black Cats failed to find the net against Fulham this afternoon and the boss is keen to put an end to such outcomes.
"For the large part I was very pleased with our performance apart from not scoring and if we look back that was our Achilles heel," Bruce told reporters. "This time last year we had Welbeck, Bent and Gyan, who are all natural goalscorers and Fraizer Campbell comes into the equation as well. That is arguably as good as this club has ever had and unfortunately for one reason and another we have lost them.
"We have to get better in that respect because that is what we have lost. Today we created enough but didn't take any of the chances. We were very limited with what we had available.
"So we will do our utmost to keep searching and looking and trying to find the right one. Of course we will. That is my job and that is our job, to move the club forward."
The Wearside club have scored 14 goals this season.
