Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has confirmed that Asamoah Gyan is being courted by at least two clubs in the United Arab Emirates.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Al-Ain from Sunderland, with the UAE club keen on securing a permanent transfer for the Ghana international.
"I don't think the position has changed that much, but there was another club out there in the United Arab Emirates looking at his services," O'Neill told The Evening Chronicle.
"I know I said some weeks ago that I'd be hoping to speak to him, but one day has run into the next and I haven't had a chance."
Gyan has struck 10 goals this season for Al-Ain.
