Stoke City boss Mark Hughes content with draw

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes insists that he was happy with a point following his side's draw with Swansea City.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has insisted that he was satisfied with a point following his side's 1-1 draw with Swansea City in the Premier League.

The Potters boss believes that his team had two strong penalty claims during the match, but was content with a share of the spoils.

"When you're the home side and you get your nose in front then you see the game through and you manage the game but credit to Swansea, they got on the ball and played like Swansea do," he told Sky Sports News.

"They had plenty of possession. At times we allowed them to be a little bit too comfortable in possession but in the end, we're a little bit disappointed that we didn't get a penalty.

"We're happy enough with the one point. Asmir's had to make a couple of outstanding saves, we had one cleared off the line so all in all, we'll take the point today."

The result moves Swansea up to 10th place in the Premier League, while Stoke remain in 14th.
