Swansea City boss Garry Monk has no concerns about possible FA punishment

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has no concerns that he could be in trouble with the FA after accusing referee Michael Oliver and Stoke City's Victor Moses of cheating.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has claimed that the Football Association would have no grounds to punish him following his 'cheat' comments about referee Michael Oliver and Stoke City's Victor Moses.

The 35-year-old described Oliver's decision to award Stoke with a penalty as "disgusting" after Moses went down under little contact from Angel Rangel.

Despite taking the lead, Swansea ended up suffering a 2-1 defeat to the Potters at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday.

When asked by reporters if he feared that he could get in trouble with his comments, Monk said: "What have I said wrong? I haven't said anything wrong, I haven't called anyone names, it's not slanderous."

The Swans are currently eighth in the Premier League table.
