Swansea City are reportedly on the verge of sacking manager Garry Monk as the South Welsh side continue to struggle this season.
Chairman Huw Jenkins is "disappointed" with Monk as City sit 14th in the Premier League after winning one of their last eight games - a 2-1 victory at bottom-of-the-table Aston Villa.
The 36-year-old has only had one job in management, having replaced Michael Laudrup in February 2014, but is said to have rejected the chance to work alongside a director of football in fear of being undermined.
Consequently, the Swansea board are ready to part company with Monk, according to The Mirror.
The Swans lost 1-0 at top-flight new boys Norwich City on Saturday, with their next game coming at home to Bournemouth on November 21 after the international break.
