Angel Rangel has said that he is pleased that Swansea City have secured 40 points in the Premier League with 10 games still to play this season.
Forty points are commonly considered to be the total that will prevent a top-flight side from being relegated.
The Spaniard told the club's website: "Getting to 40 points with 10 games to go is a fantastic achievement.
"The first target is always to stay in the league, which we haven't mathematically achieved yet, and then it's the top ten.
"It's the 100th year of the club, and we've already won the first big trophy for Swansea. So to stay in the top 10, along with what we have already achieved, would be amazing. But we can't relax, we want to see how far we can go."
Swansea are currently eighth in the table.
