Preview: Swansea City vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole looks ahead to Monday's Premier League clash between Swansea City and Liverpool.

Liverpool will be looking to maintain their 100% start to the Premier League season with their fourth successive victory on Monday when they lock horns with Swansea City.

The Reds will head into the clash at the Liberty Stadium placed third in the league table with three wins from three matches and knowing that a win in Wales will see them reclaim the top spot.

On the other hand, Swansea will be aiming to pull themselves out of the bottom three, having collected just three points from their three games so far this campaign.

However, the Swans will be boosted by their 2-0 away victory over West Bromwich Albion before the two-week international break.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers will be encouraged by the news that defender Kolo Toure could recover from his groin injury in time for Monday's match, while striker Daniel Sturridge has been passed fit after overcoming his thigh injury.

Midfielder Joe Allen is also likely to be available following his recovery from a hamstring problem and Andre Wisdom will replace the injured Glen Johnson at right-back.

For Swansea, manager Michael Laudrup has injury concerns of his own, as Neil Taylor is definitely out with a thigh problem, while Nathan Dyer could miss out with a hamstring injury.
