Nuno: 'Valencia will grow under Peter Lim'

Valencia boss Nuno reveals his excitement for the future following Peter Lim's takeover of the club.

Valencia boss Nuno believes that Peter Lim's takeover of the club proves that Los Che are moving in the right direction.

On the pitch, the Spanish side have made an excellent start to the La Liga season, picking up 20 points from their nine league games to sit third in the table, just one point off top position.

Meanwhile, off-the-field issues have also been resolved, with Singapore businessman Lim recently completing his 70% takeover of the La Liga side.

"Peter Lim came down before and after the game to congratulate the players. He was also at the hotel. This was a very important moment for us. Mestalla had an incredible atmosphere. We love playing at home," Nuno told reporters.

"Valencia will be stronger every day with Peter Lim. We're a club that's on the right track, although there's still a lot of work ahead of us."

Nuno is expected to be handed healthy funds to improve his squad in January.
