Wales manager Chris Coleman says that he will not abandon the national team if he gets another job offer.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that he will not leave the national side before the end of his contract.

The former Fulham boss and his side have recorded three defeats in their first four Group A 2014 World Cup qualifiers, including a heavy 6-1 loss to Serbia.

"My contract is until the end of the qualifying games and I'm looking to see that through," Coleman told BBC Sport. "I've had six games, [I'm] yet to have our strongest team on the pitch, one game [was] really bad - Serbia.

"Let's say we were three or four games in and we'd won every game, and let's say financially a better offer came my way from a big club. I wouldn't walk away because it leaves my country in a bit of a predicament."

Coleman took charge of the national side following the suicide of former boss Gary Speed last year.
