Werder Bremen's Aaron Hunt hints at move abroad

Aaron Hunt insists that he is happy at Werder Bremen but is open to leaving the Bundesliga for a foreign club.

Werder Bremen midfielder Aaron Hunt has revealed that he is open to a move outside the Bundesliga.

The 27-year-old's current contract with his German club runs out at the end of the season and an agreement over a new deal has yet to be reached.

"I am very pleased about this appreciation," he told Sport-Bild. "Still I am not in a hurry as I am keen to wait on our further progress.

"There is always a special charm to move to a foreign-based club and this is an issue on my mind. But Werder Bremen remains my first partner of conversation regarding my future."

Hunt has been on Bremen's books since 2001.
