The son of West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has claimed that Roger Johnson has joined the club on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It was claimed on Monday morning that the Premier League strugglers were on the verge of landing the 30-year-old centre-back as they look to turnaround their recent slump.
While no official confirmation has come from the Hammers, Jack Sullivan has said that the defender has penned a short-term deal at Upton Park.
"ROGER JOHNSON has signed till the end of the season, as emergency cover at CB," he tweeted. "He might surprise a few people. More news soon."
West Ham are currently three points from safety in the Premier League table.
