West Ham United are reportedly on the verge of signing Mohamed Kudus from Ajax, having come to an agreement over a deal for the Ghana international.
The forward has been linked with a number of clubs during this summer's transfer window, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea all believed to be keen.
However, West Ham have recently emerged as the favourites for his signature, and according to Sky Sports News, the Hammers have now agreed a deal with Ajax for his services.
The report claims that David Moyes's side will pay an initial £35.6m for Kudus, potentially with a further £2.6m in performance-related add-ons.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form at the start of the 2023-24 campaign, scoring four goals and registering one assist in three appearances in all competitions.
Kudus scored a hat-trick against Ludogorets in the Europa League playoff round first leg on Thursday in what is likely to be his final appearance for the Dutch club.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth are allegedly lining up a £25m offer for Patson Daka, with the Cherries determined to secure his signature before the end of the transfer window.
The Zambia international is widely expected to leave Leicester City before Friday's deadline.
The 24-year-old only managed four goals in all competitions for Leicester last season, while he has a record of nine goals in 53 Premier League outings since his arrival at the King Power Stadium.
Daka has not featured for the Foxes this season, while he was not even named in the squad for their last two league games against Cardiff City and Rotherham United.
According to the Daily Mail, Bournemouth are lining up a £25m for the forward, who is said to be keen to make the move to the Premier League club before the window closes.
Daka has another two years left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium, meaning that Leicester are in a strong position to demand a high transfer fee in the final week of the market.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have reportedly been in touch with Paris Saint-Germain to discuss a move for Julian Draxler before the end of the window.
The Germany international spent last season on loan with Benfica, scoring twice in 18 appearances for the Portuguese outfit.
The 29-year-old is free to leave PSG in the coming week, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future.
According to RMC Sport, Palace have been in touch with the French champions to discuss a move to London for the experienced attacker.
The report claims that a switch to the Eagles is of interest to Draxler, who has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.
The German has played 198 times for PSG in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and registering 41 assists in the process, while he has also turned out for Schalke 04 and Wolfsburg during his professional career.
