West Ham United are reportedly preparing a bid for Ecuador international Enner Valencia.

The 25-year-old was one of his country's standout performers at the World Cup and scored three goals in the group stages.

His displays have caught the attention of Sam Allardyce, who according to the Daily Star is ready to bid £12m to secure his services.

Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in Valencia, who has scored 18 goals in 23 appearances for his current club Pachuca this season.
