Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Huddersfield Town

Sports Mole casts its eye forward to the Championship match on Wednesday night as Huddersfield Town travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Lowly Huddersfield Town will look to build on their first win under Chris Powell when they travel to high-flying Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday evening.

The Terriers earned their first maximum since mid-August at home to Millwall on Saturday, with Nahki Wells scoring both goals to lift them out of the drop zone.

Wells should again start in attack and could be joined by new recruit Grant Holt, who came off the bench on Saturday after joining on loan from Wigan Athletic.

If Huddersfield are to go on a winning streak, they will have to put a stop to Wolves' irresistible form at home this season.

Kenny Jackett's side have won every single game at Molineux, conceding just one goal in four games.

Their away form has been less convincing, but despite winning just one of five games on their travels they still sit third in the table, two points adrift of Norwich City at the summit.

It looked like they would win on the road on Sunday until a late equaliser from Reading meant that they had to settle for a point in a pulsating 3-3 draw.

Nouha Dicko had to miss the clash against the Royals and Leon Clarke could keep his place in attack if the former is still struggling on Wednesday.

Huddersfield have an excellent recent record against Wolves, winning their last five games against the Black Country club.
