Dominic Iorfa among quartet to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers

Dominic Iorfa joins Sheffield Wednesday from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a permanent deal as the Premier League side offload four players late on deadline day.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that Dominic Iorfa has joined Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent transfer.

The 23-year-old was named Wolves' Young Player of the Year in 2015-16 and made a total of 93 appearances at first-team level.

Iorfa has found minutes hard to come by since returning from a loan spell with Ipswich Town last season, though, failing to make a single senior appearance under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Wednesday have now agreed a deal with Wanderers to sign the former England Under-21s international for an undisclosed fee - one of four players to depart Molineux on deadline day.

Connor Ronan has joined FC DAC Dunajska Streda for the rest of the season, having returned from a loan spell at Walsall, and Jack Ruddy is to spend the next five months with Spanish side San Sebastian.

The final piece of outgoing business sees Phil Ofosu-Ayeh head to Wurzburger Kickers in the third tier of German football.
