Preview: Yeovil Town vs. Watford

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship fixture between Yeovil Town and Watford on Tuesday night.

Watford are after their fourth Championship victory in five games when they travel to bottom side Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

After a sticky start to life as manager, Giuseppe Sannino seems to have found a winning formula, and victory at Huish Park would strengthen the Hornets' place in the top half of the table as they look to make a run at the playoffs in the closing months of the campaign.

Tuesday's match is being played after the initial fixture was postponed back on New Year's Day because of a waterlogged pitch.

Sannino is likely to go with a side similar to the one that edged out Middlesbrough yesterday, but he will be without Samba Diakite after his straight red card for a two-footed lunge.

Diakite's place in the starting XI could be taken by Ikechi Anya, while Manuel Almunia and Joel Ekstrand are struggling with injuries and may miss out again.

Hosts Yeovil are now seven points adrift of safety, but do have two games in hand on the teams above the drop zone.

They will also have fond memories of playing Watford as the reverse fixture finished 3-0 in the Glovers' favour back in November.

Gary Johnson's men will have had a week's rest and many changes from the 1-1 draw against Millwall are unlikely.

After scoring their goal from the bench against the Lions, Joe Ralls could earn a start, while James Hayter is also in contention for a return to the starting XI.
