Alexandr Dolgopolov takes down Milos Raonic at Indian Wells Masters

Alexandr Dolgopolov reaches the semi-finals of the Indian Wells Masters with a straight-sets win over Milos Raonic.

Alexandr Dolgopolov has defeated Milos Raonic in straight sets to reach the semi-finals of the Indian Wells Masters.

The Ukrainian number one will rise to a projected number 23 in next week's ATP Tour rankings following the 6-3 6-4 victory, continuing his meteoric rise.

Raonic, who saw off Andy Murray on his way to the quarter-finals, was unable to recapture his top form against Dolgopolov and was second best throughout.

Dolgopolov will take on either Roger Federer or Kevin Anderson in the semi-finals.
