Igor Sijsling too strong for Philipp Kohlschreiber

Igor Sijsling progresses to the semi-finals of the Rotterdam 500 with a three-sets win over Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Igor Sijsling has beaten Philipp Kohlscreiber 6-2 2-6 6-1 to make it into the last four at the Rotterdam 500.

Sijsling stunned the German in the first set, picking up a break in Kohlschreiber's first service game before cruising to 6-2 without facing a break against his own serve.

His opponent responded with a similarly dominant display in the second set as he found his form on serve to level the match.

After the first three games went with serve in the deciding set, the Dutchman was able to raise his game, making a series of impressive returns to take a break to love.

Losing the break saw the German's head drop, and he was unable to take another game as the wildcard brushed him aside 6-1, setting up a semi-final with Marin Cilic.
