Ernests Gulbis is into the semi-final of the Rotterdam Open, courtesy of a 6-3 6-4 victory over Juan Martin del Potro.
The Latvian saw off the number four seed in a match lasting one hour and 21 minutes.
Gulbis served 12 aces, with six in each set, compared to Del Potro's five, taking a straight-sets victory.
The man ranked 24th in the world will now face Tomas Berdych for a place in the final, with the third seed beating Jerzy Janowicz 6-7(9), 6-2, 6-4 in their earlier clash.
The second round of quarter-final action gets underway later today, with Andy Murray up against Marin Cilic.
