A consortium made up of investors from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are reportedly lining up a £1.5bn takeover bid for Arsenal.

Arsenal are reportedly being lined up for a £1.5bn takeover.

According to The Sun, a consortium made up of investors from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates having been working on a deal to put forward to the Gunners' majority shareholder Stan Kroenke.

It is believed that the deal could gather momentum over the next few weeks, as the consortium have been working on the proposal for the past four months.

The investors will offer Kroenke £20,000 per share for 66.64% of his
stake in the North London outfit.
