Morgan Schneiderlin 'allowed to leave Southampton as Arsenal make contact'

Southampton will reportedly allow Morgan Schneiderlin to leave this summer amid news that Arsenal have made contact regarding a transfer.

Southampton have reportedly told Morgan Schneiderlin that the club will grant the midfielder a transfer this summer for the right price.

The Frenchman was linked with a move away from St Mary's last summer, but due to a flurry of departures, the coastal club refused to sanction a move.

However, according to ESPN, their stance has shifted and if the right fee comes in, Schneiderlin will be allowed to leave.

The report mentions that Arsenal remain interested in the midfielder and have made contact with their Premier League counterparts, but are yet to put forward a bid.
