Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Pinto gives his full backing to Tito Vilanova, who will take over as Catalan boss in the summer.

Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Pinto has revealed his disappointment at Pep Guardiola's decision to depart the club in the summer.

Guardiola will step down as Catalan boss at the end of the season, with his assistant Tito Vilanova ready to take the reins, a decision which Pinto has given his full backing.

"We understand Pep's decision, but would have preferred if he decided to stay. Aside from the titles he won, people will remember his philosophy. We all know Tito. He has a strong personality, and we believe in his way of seeing football," Pinto told reporters.

Barcelona currently sit second in La Liga.
