Rumoured Paris Saint-Germain target Neymar will definitely not be leaving Barcelona this summer, according to the Spanish club's vice-president Jordi Mestre.

Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre has insisted that he is "200% sure" that forward Neymar will not be leaving the club to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Shock reports emerged in Spain on Monday evening suggesting that PSG are willing to smash the world transfer record to sign the Brazil international, potentially setting them back around £195m to activate his release clause.

There had also been claims that Neymar was tempted to call it a day at Camp Nou after four successful years with the club, due to being unhappy about playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi, but Barca chief Mestre is adamant that no deal has been struck and the ex-Santos ace is staying put.

"I'm 200% sure that he is going to stay," he told reporters. "I've read information in the French press that PSG themselves have categorically denied it, a club with whom we are maintaining absolutely normal relations. Nothing has changed in that aspect."

Neymar has scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barcelona, 20 of which came during the 2016-17 campaign.
