Franck Ribery has fuelled speculation that Olivier Giroud could make a summer switch to Bayern Munich by praising the French striker.
The 25-year-old has found the net 16 times for Montpellier HSC already this season, capturing the eye of scouts from across Europe.
Giroud also scored his first international goal in the 2-1 win over Germany in Bremen on Wednesday.
Ribery, whose club have recently been linked with the Ligue 1 hitman, has now said that his Les Bleus teammate could "play in a big club".
"Olivier is doing very well. He is a great striker with good heading ability, a strong left foot," the 28-year-old told Bild. "He's a good guy - sure he could play in a big club."
Giroud joined Montpellier from Tours in 2010.
