Team News: Mario Gotze starts for Bayern Munich

Mario Gotze makes his full debut for Bayern Munich in the home clash against Nuremberg.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has handed summer signing Mario Gotze his full debut for the Bundesliga clash against Nuremberg.

Gotze has previously made the bench, but he has been selected to start in the middle of an attacking three, also comprising Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

For Nuremberg, their saviour in the last game, Hiroshi Kiyotake, only makes the bench for a more defensive lineup that sees 18-year-old Niklas Stark start.

Bayern: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Schweinsteiger Thiago; Robben, Gotze, Ribery; Mandzukic

Nuremberg: Schafer; Chandler, Nilsson, Pogatetz, Pinola; Balitsch, Stark; Drmic, Feulner, Plattenhardt; Ginczek
