Stefan Johansen confident of Europa League success

Stefan Johansen believes that Celtic can enjoy a long run in this season's Europa League.

Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has said that he is confident the club can reach the knockout stages of the Europa League.

The Hoops entered the tournament at the group stage after dropping down from the Champions League, and Johansen believes that they can enjoy a successful campaign in Europe.

"We need to aim for three wins at home in Europe," The Telegraph quotes him as saying.

"We got a point away from home against Salzburg which is good, but at home we should aim to beat all the teams in our section.

"We were disappointed not to be in the Champions League but this competition can still be good for the team."

Johansen joined Celtic in January from Stromsgodset for a reported fee of £2m.
