Ashley Cole starts at left-back for Chelsea for the visit of Norwich, despite his blast at the Football Association yesterday.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has kept faith with left-back Ashley Cole for today's visit of Norwich, despite the England international's blast at the Football Association.

John Terry returns in place of Gary Cahill at the heart of defence, while Eden Hazard comes in for Ramires. John Obi Mikel also starts for his 250th game in a blue shirt.

For the visitors, summer signing Alexander Tettey gets his first start in midfield. At the back, Sebastian Bassong replaces Michael Turner.

Chris Hughton has also gone for Wesley Hoolahan over Robert Snodgrass in the playmaking position.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole; Mikel, Lampard; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Barnett, Bassong, Garrido; Howson, Johnson, Hoolahan, E. Bennett, Tettey; Holt
