Report: Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on Valencia radar

Chelsea and Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi is believed to be a transfer target for La Liga giants Valencia.

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants Valencia.

The Belgium international spent the latter half of the 2017-18 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and scored seven goals in 10 appearances.

Batshuayi made only three Premier League starts in the first half of the campaign under Antonio Conte before joining Dortmund late in the January transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the 24-year-old remains unsure about his first-team chances at Stamford Bridge despite a change in management, with Maurizio Sarri taking over from his compatriot.

In addition, the report also outlines that Valencia's offer of Champions League football, as opposed to Chelsea's Europa League place, could prove a big draw for the former Marseille striker.

Batshuayi has won 15 caps for Belgium and made three appearances for his nation at the 2018 World Cup.
