Joachim Low: 'Germany will give Brazil a fight'

Germany coach Joachim Low promises Brazil that his team will give them a fight when they meet in the World Cup semi-finals.

Germany coach Joachim Low has promised Brazil that his team will give them a fight in their World Cup semi-final showdown.

The two teams go head to head in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday evening for a place in Sunday's final.

While praising Brazil for the "outstanding" way in which they've coped with the pressure of being the home nation, Low is hoping that his players will be able to make it through the tie.

"We all know how strong Brazil are," he told FIFA.com. "They were the big favourites right from the start and the players have mostly coped with this role outstandingly.

"We'll devise a good plan and give Brazil a real fight. The chances are even and it's going to come down to something really minor [to decide] who reaches the final."

Germany saw off France 1-0 in the quarter-finals to reach the last four of the tournament.
