Report: Liverpool interested in signing Manchester City's Joe Hart

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing goalkeeper Joe Hart should the Manchester City number one opt to leave the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The England number one recently expressed uncertainty over his future with the Premier League champions by admitting that contract talks are yet to be held.

According to The Metro, the Reds have emerged as possible contenders for Hart, who has two years remaining on his current terms.

Argentine keeper Willy Caballero was brought in during the summer transfer window to challenge Hart's number one spot.

As for Liverpool, widespread reports have claimed that the club have held talks with free agent Victor Valdes about possibly acting as back-up to Simon Mignolet.
