Report: Liverpool want Dani Parejo

A report claims that Liverpool want to sign Valencia's Spanish midfielder Dani Parejo at the end of the season.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old, who came through the youth system at Real Madrid, has previously spent time in England, having represented Queens Park Rangers on loan in 2008.

The Spaniard moved on to Getafe in 2009, before joining Valencia, where he has been since 2011.

Last season, the midfielder struck 12 La Liga goals for Los Che, but he has only managed six this time around during what has been a disappointing campaign for the former Spanish champions.

According to Fichajes.net, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has identified midfield as an area of his squad that needs strengthening this summer and Parejo is among the German's leading targets.

Parejo has made 35 appearances for Valencia this season.
