Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to beat Manchester United and Real Madrid to the £25.7m signing of Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga.

Paris Saint-Germain have supposedly won the race to sign Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga.

The 18-year-old burst onto the scene under Julien Stephan at Roazhon Park and is thought to have caught the eye of Real Madrid and Manchester United among others.

Furthermore, with Camavinga's existing Rennes deal due to expire in the summer of 2022, Bruno Genesio's side are at risk of losing the talented prospect on a free transfer at the end of this season.

Despite links with United and Madrid, Ouest France claims that PSG are in pole position to sign the teenager, whose Brittany Derby appearance against Nantes was likely his last in a Rennes shirt.

Les Rouge et Noir are supposedly happy to accept a figure of £25.7m for Camavinga, who boasts two goals and five assists from 86 matches for Rennes in all competitions.

Camavinga was originally thought to have been on United's radar as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects the 28-year-old to remain at Old Trafford.
