SC Farense will look to claw themselves out of the relegation zone when they travel to face Moreirense at the Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas as part of Sunday's Primeira Liga action.
Neither side are in the strongest form at the moment, but despite the disparity in league position, the visitors may sense a chance to put important points on the board this weekend.
We say: Moreirense 0-1 SC Farense
Moreirense may be nine places above Farense in the table, but the visitors are in marginally better form ahead of this weekend's clash.
Marreco's side could edge a win on Sunday, but given that no team have scored fewer goals than them in the Primeira Liga this season, they will need to be solid defensively if they are to escape with all three points.

Nacional will be looking to pick up back-to-back victories for the first time this season when they play host to AVS in round 18 of the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Sunday.
Having failed to win the previous three meetings between the two sides, the Vila das Aves outfit will journey to the Estadio da Madeira aiming to get one over the home side and pull three points clear of the danger zone.
We say: Nacional 1-0 AVS
Buoyed by their victory over Porto, Nacional will head into the weekend in sky-high spirits as they look to put together a fine run of form and push into the top half of the table.
AVS have proven tough to crack or late, holding out for a share of the spoils in their last five games, but we fancy Margarido's men to come away with all three points in front of their home supporters.

Estrela Amadora vs. Braga (Sunday, 6.00pm)

After an extended break, Estrela Amadora will return to action this weekend, playing hosts to Braga in round 18 of Primeira Liga.
While the visitors were in Taca de Portugal action in midweek, the hosts come into this encounter with fresher legs, having last taken to the field on January 5.
We say: Estrela Amadora 1-3 Braga
Braga head into this encounter on the back of four consecutive away victories in the top flight, leaving them with the second-best away record in the division.
While Estrela have been solid at home, their recent loss to Estoril has exposed vulnerabilities, leaving them susceptible to the visitors, making a win for the Archbishops the most likely outcome.

Gil Vicente vs. Porto (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Following an abysmal start to the new year, Porto will hope for a turnaround when they make the trip to Gil Vicente in this weekend's round 18 Primera Liga fixture.
The Blue and Whites have lost both of their outings in 2025, suffering a 1-0 defeat against Sporting Lisbon in Taca da Liga semi-final before falling 2-0 to Nacional in the league last weekend.
We say: Gil Vicente 1-2 Porto
Porto will be eager to respond after back-to-back defeats, and their superior firepower should give them the edge.
Vicente have been resilient, but facing a team with one of the league's best defences and the Dragons' strong record at Barcelos makes a narrow away victory the likely outcome.
