Former Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish is reportedly a contender for the Nottingham Forest managerial job.
The Championship outfit could call time on Steve Cotterill's tenure at the City Ground following Kuwaiti group the Al-Hasawi family's takeover of the club earlier this week.
It is understood that the Forest board are keen on McLeish and that the Scotsman would be willing to move to the club if the job became available, according to Sky Sports News.
McLeish, who was sacked by Villa after one season in charge, is believed to be the leading contender of candidates, which include Darren Ferguson, Neil Warnock and Mick McCarthy.
