Port Vale sign Frederic Veseli

Former Manchester United and Ipswich Town defender Frederic Veseli signs a six-month contract with Port Vale.

Port Vale have completed the signing of Frederic Veseli on a permanent deal until the end of the season.

The defender had been on loan at Vale Park during the first half the campaign, but he recently returned to his parent club Ipswich Town.

However, the Championship outfit have since decided to release the 22-year-old from his contract at Portman Road, which freed him up to agree to terms with Vale.

"We're very pleased to announce the signing of Freddie. He is a fantastic addition to a strong squad and one that we are very happy to have made," manager Rob Page told the club's official website.

Veseli joined Ipswich from Manchester United in the summer of 2013.
