Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Rangers could line up for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against RB Leipzig.

Rangers will hope to be boosted by the return of Kemar Roofe for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final with RB Leipzig.

The forward has missed the last three games with a knee injury, one of those fixtures being the 1-0 reverse in Germany last week.

However, Roofe is said to be winning his race to return to the squad for this contest, even if Giovanni van Bronckhorst may consider keeping the attacker on the substitutes' bench.

Although the Rangers boss named a strong XI for the meeting with Celtic at the weekend, the likes of Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara were only named as replacements, potentially a sign that they will feature from the opening whistle of this fixture.

Van Bronckhorst has decisions to make regarding the make-up of his attack, but Joe Aribo and Fashion Sakala are seemingly favourite to line up in a combination with Ryan Kent.

Even if Aaron Ramsey successfully shakes off a hamstring problem, the Wales international - like Roofe - may only be named as a substitute.

Rangers have Leon Balogun available for this fixture after his absence due to suspension at the weekend, but it would come as a surprise if he was recalled.

Calvin Bassey should keep his spot in the middle of the backline, with Borna Barisic deputising for Bassey at left-back.

Rangers possible starting lineup: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic; Lundstram, Jack, Kamara; Aribo, Sakala, Kent
